Fall Semester

This has been a trying semester. I started out ready to go! Motivated and excited. On the way to this last day of class I have come across some of life’s real challenges. I thank God for seeing me through another semester. I learned so much, not only in school, but with relationships, friendships, and life’s situations. I am truly blessed to be the woman that I am becoming and I look forward to next semester, MY LAST SEMESTER!

Nicki Minaj inspires. Although she may seem to be vulgar and raw, Nicki Minaj is my favorite female rapper. She has overcome may obstacles being seen as a joke but made her way to being a household name. She is the motivation to young girls that want to be something that most people look down on.  Nicki Minaj has released two #1 albums and headlined her first tour this year. She is currently building an empire with her fragrance and finger nail polish. Nicki Minaj is breaking records for an African American female rapper. She has gained respect and I applaud her for not caring about what others say or think about her.

America’s Motivation

I am so motivated by the past election. Feelings of happiness, joy, and empowerment. President Obama was re-elected yesterday and I still can not believe it. I am so motivated from how we came together and made our voices heard. Although a lot of people are not on President Obama’s side he still manages to walk with his head held high and continue to be the best president he can be. I respect his movement so much. I am so thankful to have been apart of this time in our nations history. 

Our FIRST LADY Mrs. Michelle Obama inspires. I have never seen a woman so strong and positive. This woman has different obstacles thrown at her daily and still remains positive. As our first African American first lady Michelle Obama has lived up to many expectations. She is supporting her husband, President Barack Obama, every step of his journey. Can you name an event that President Obama attended that his wife did not attend? She is a mother. Often times I see Mrs. Obama in pictures with her daughters, Malia and Sasha. When I watch interviews, Mrs. Obama always seems to be down to Earth about her girls. It seems that they are being raised to be beautiful girls with values and morals essential to success. I also love the fact that Malia and Sasha are not in the media often.  Although there are people in our world that do no support the Obama campaign, our first lady does not let this discourage her. She is always giving back to the community and making positive appearances. Her Let’s Move campaign is promotes health around our country. She travels around the country to promote the importance of being active.  We are currently in our presidential election and I am sure that Michelle Obama is a little stressed but she doesn’t let it show. I admire that this PHENOMENAL woman can keep her positive image and never take a day off. I LOVE OUR FLOTUS!!!
